The world of Esports has become a billion dollar market globally and has a range of career opportunities for passionate esport learners across a variety of industry fields.

 From the core qualifications to the enrichment experiences on offer, learners of the Esports Industry College have the opportunity to explore a range of career pathways available. Some learners will already have their goals set on a chosen pathway when they join us, while others will use our programme to explore the opportunities available, prior to deciding their future career.

 Learners can take the journey onto higher education to study for undergraduate and post graduate degrees in either Esports or their chosen field, or gain direct employment opportunities or entrance to the industry through apprenticeships. And for elite players, the opportunity to study, train and play in America by achieving a U.S. Scholarship awaits.

Esports streamers or influencers entertain their followers or fans with an array of gaming content on channels such as Twitch and Youtube. From gaming tutorials, giveaways, live gameplays and reviews influencers are helping brands break into a competitive market with vast target audiences to enhance their online presence. Many serious gamers are now turning their hobby into a source of income and profession!

A shoutcaster responsibility is to provide the commentary for Esports matches and to engage viewers with the hype and energy, while reviewing tactical analysis on important plays during a match. Many shoutcasters start by broadcasting on platforms such as Twitch and YouTube to gain experience and create showreels to showcase their talent to tournament providers.

Delivering an Esports broadcast requires a production team to plan from pre-production to delivering an exciting live broadcast for viewers to watch live worldwide. A journalist is someone who investigates, collects and presents information as a news story. This can be presented through online channles, newspapers, magazines, radio, and television. Journalists are relied upon to present news in a well-rounded, objective manner. Typical tasks of an Esports journalists will be to interview players and industry pros, write news stories, features, analysis articles, opinion pieces and match reports.
